Isoclad fire rated cladding and fire stopping installation

Adept Contracts have recently returned to the London Bridge station upgrade project to install the next phase of passive fire protection cladding under the stairs and escalators in the new main concourse area. Adept, having already completed phase one last year, are now on track to finish these works in time for London Bridge station’s second phase to open on 2nd January 2018. These works include the supply and installation of Isoclad panels, fixed and suspended underneath the stair and escalators to form a one-hour fire barrier to protect the travelling public in the concourse. This unique design allows for a 35mm deflection form the train moments overhead on the main.
