Waterloo New International Station – Retail Hoardings

new station building in Waterloo under constructionAdept Contracts have successfully secured the contract to supply and install a one-hour fire rated hoarding system within the new station building which is still under construction. This latest section of the station is due to be handed over in November this year. Adept are working to a 2-month program to install and certify fire rated corridors, walkways and passenger access tunnels for the Wessex Capacity Alliance.

When it is commissioned, the corridors and walkways will be opened to the travelling public giving them access from the street through and up to the concourse at Waterloo Station. It will also provide a means of emergency escape routes for the station.

The new station is being segregated in this manner to separate the new public areas from the on-going construction of the new retail areas.
