Adept are delighted to have been awarded a third contract for HS2, the South Ruislip shaft, which is another exciting opportunity for the company.

The South Ruislip shaft is in West London and serves as a ventilation, evacuation, and intervention shaft for the tunnelling works associated with HS2. This shaft provides essential access for emergency personnel and facilitates ventilation within the tunnel system, ensuring safety and efficiency during the construction and operation of the railway.

Adept will be responsible for undertaking all the passive fire protection within the South Ruislip shaft, work on the design has commenced.
