Adept Contracts Ltd has a new London headquarters at 10 Fitzroy Square. The office space acts as a central hub for the Adept team, who are geographically spread across the UK.

Located a short walk from Euston, the open plan space is inside a heritage building once owned by the famous contractor Fitzpatrick PLC, which has now merged with VolkerVessels. The location serves Adept well as it is central to many of its projects, including Houses of Parliament, various TFL jobs and HS2.

Matt Hutchesson, Project Manager on the SCS JV HS2 project, says “it brings us closer as a team, a space for sharing ideas and getting the work done.”

The modern feel of the office matches Adept’s ambition, with an emphasis on personal interaction and lots of social space for the team to congregate.

Saiman Shrestha, Adept Contracts Ltd’s Design Delivery lead, says “it’s a comfortable space that enables easy chat. It really helps us talk more and we’re able to help each other out with problem solving.

It fosters colleague working relationships, creating a fun atmosphere which you don’t get when remote working or being solo on our different construction sites.”

Adept’s Construction Director Mark Ledger said “I love the office’s family atmosphere. It brings us together to share ideas, inspire technical ingenuity and to take interest in one another’s problems and successes. It also helps the team’s less senior members gain confidence in face to face interactions, enabling them to feel better equipped when meeting clients.”
