06 Dec Adept wins SCS Supply Chain ONE TEAM award
Adept Contracts Ltd won the award for MEP excellence in collaboration at 2024’s Skanska Costain STRABAG (SCS) Supply Chain ONE TEAM event.
The award ceremony was held in November at London’s TUC Congress Centre, which hosted over 100 HS2 (High Speed Two) supply chain partners.
The award for MEP excellence in collaboration recognises Adept Contracts Ltd’s demonstration of the best-in-class working to ensure compliance to the latest stringent, complex and often emerging technical certification requirements. It celebrates our team’s work with the designers, MEP and AFO supply chain to ensure the design is fully compliant to the latest emerging technical requirements, and our professional engaging in the most human and personal way to achieve the best in thinking, and going beyond the requirements of the contract with the focus of doing what is best for HS2.
The award was presented to Adept Contracts Ltd’s Construction Director Mark Ledger by Joe Kemm, SCS’s MEP director. It recognises the contribution made by a large team at Adept Contracts Ltd, including Matt Hutchesson (PM), Joe Byrnes (Project Engineer), Saiman Shrestha (Design manager), Matt Cummings (Commercial manager), Simona Dilyte (Doc controller), Claudine Shrestha (QS), Stella Lim (Contract Administrator), Leigh Poulten (Bim Manager), Victor Bozeat (Technical Manager), Jon Pitt, and Mihail Vasillian (BIM Designers) and Edmond Koh (project planner).
We’d also like to thank an Adept Contracts Ltd team member who recently left, Emanuel Scott (project manager), who took a leading role in helping facilitate design solutions for the steel protection works.
As the HS2 project enters the next phase, we are looking ahead to deliver further excellence in collaboration with a commitment to safety, innovation and sustainable excellence.
