Following on from being awarded the Westgate Ventilation Shaft contract as part of the HS2 Programme, Adept are delighted to be awarded the contract for the Victoria Road Ancillary Shaft. This is an exciting opportunity for the company.

The Victoria Road Ancillary Shaft is located in Acton, West London and serves as a ventilation, evacuation, and intervention shaft for the tunnelling works associated with HS2. This shaft provides essential access for emergency personnel and facilitates ventilation within the tunnel system, ensuring safety and efficiency during the construction and operation of the railway.

Adept will be responsible for undertaking all the passive fire protection within the Victoria Road shaft. The design commences in March with works on-site planned to through to autumn 2024.
