At the HS2 Inspiration Awards Event in Birmingham this month, SCS were awarded the Outstanding Collaborative Engagement Award. Adept Contracts forms part of the Noise Insulation Team for SCS East at Euston HS2 Station, working alongside Queenswood Engagement and Selectaglaze Ltd. The award category recognised the individuals or teams who have worked collaboratively across the HS2 supply chain when delivering engagement with residents, communities, or stakeholders.

Ampthill Towers are 3 blocks of flats, on the edge of Euston Station, identified as qualifying for the Noise Insulation Programme offered to residents by HS2. The Noise Insulation team worked together to create a ‘ showroom ‘ in one of the flats. This ‘show flat’ was set up to showcase to residents the various measures they could take up to reduce noise, dust , heat in their homes and gave the Team the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of this program.

Following a series of events of the engagement programme, the uptake of residents having these mitigation measures went from 15 to 109 of the 200 flats in the scheme. Adept Contracts are proud to be part of these inspirational and collaborative initiatives. It is well deserved recognition for all the Program Team.
